My Approach
I have a genuine curiosity for the people in front of me, and I want to create photos that make you feel alive when you look back at them.
I’m naturally observant, and I take time to understand the people I’m photographing.
I’m not there to over-direct your day or turn it into a performance. I’m there to read the room, build trust, and quietly notice what’s already unfolding.
I don’t create moments. I notice them well.
If that sounds like you, we’ll probably see things the same way.

I’m based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney — I shoot weddings across Sydney and throughout Australia, and I'm always open to travel. All travel fees are outlined in my packages.

I started assisting on weddings in 2014, just after finishing my Visual Arts degree (majoring in Photomedia at SCA). My first wedding came in 2015 — a close friend who trusted me completely and gave me the freedom to work in my own way.
That was over a decade ago, and I still love it just as much.

Absolutely. I believe everyone should love whoever they choose to love. I had the special privilege of capturing my first LGBTQ+ couple shortly after it was legally recognized in Australia in 2017.
-
I work independently, but I do offer a second shooter option — something I usually recommend for weddings over 150 guests.

Yes! When your photographer and videographer have a similar approach, the day just flows better. No stepping on each other's toes, and everyone's focused on making it a great experience for you.

Relaxed, present, and completely focused on you. I blend into the background where I can, but I'm always watching for the moments worth keeping. I won't over-direct or make things feel staged. My job is to make you feel comfortable so the real stuff can happen.

Some of my favourite work has come from venues I'd never been to before. A big part of this job is thinking on your feet. Reading the light, the season, the greenery, where the sun is sitting at that time of day, and finding the best spots as the day unfolds.

Weather is one of those things none of us can control and often some of the most beautiful portraits I've taken have been on overcast or rainy days. The light is even, soft, and incredibly flattering.
If it's raining, I'll always look for opportunities to get outside when we can. Umbrellas are a good idea — white or clear work best. And if we end up staying inside, we'll make it work!

For full-day coverage, you can expect around 500–600 fully edited images delivered to your online gallery.
That number is intentional. I'd rather you open your gallery and love every single image than feel overwhelmed scrolling past duplicates.
Turnaround is typically 4–6 weeks, depending on the time of year.

This is something most photographers don't offer, and I'm the same. Editing is a fundamental part of my process and how I develop my own style, so I don't deliver RAW files. Your gallery will be fully edited and ready to share.

Yes, my online galleries have a print lab built in, so you and your guests can order prints directly from your gallery to home.
